If you’re looking to be a hero, you can save a tortured and bullied gnome from a group of mean goblins in Baldur’s Gate 3. But you’ll have to get through Fezzerk first.
Just like Dungeons & Dragons, Baldur’s Gate 3 has you traversing lands and encountering NPCs as you attempt to complete quests. A popular quest is Rescue the Gnome, which has you beating down bullies to save a gnome from being humiliated. Here’s how to complete this quest.
Rescue the Gnome quest location
Rescue the Gnome is triggered when you head to the windmill that’s in the Blighted Village. You’ll find this to the east of the Goblin Camp.
When you approach the windmill, you’ll bump into Fezzerk. He is leading a group of goblins in tying up and humiliating a gnome called Barcus Wroot. He’s tied to a blade of the windmill and you’ll have to stop it with a lever to pull him down. But first, you need to deal with Fezzerk.

Fezzerk is an NPC goblin that is commanding a group of other goblins.

How to beat Fezzerk?
There are two ways you can deal with Fezzerk when you approach him. The first option is to convince him and his gang to leave. You’ll need to pass a check but if you have the right stats, this is the easiest option.
You can also choose to fight Fezzerk. There are a lot of goblins to deal with but they are relatively easy to take down. The issue is that if you have Whyll in your party, they will want you to keep Fezzerk alive.
If you do end up killing Fezzerk, his squad will run away. This means you may want to focus on Fezzerk and take him down to end the fight quicker. You can then use Speak with the Dead on his body.
