How to complete Fortnite Season 5 – Week 4 challenges

The holiday season didn’t stop another week of Fortnite challenges going live in Chapter 2 – Season 5. The Week 4 set released just before Christmas so many players still haven’t loaded in and looked at what challenges are available. For those that haven’t done so yet, don’t worry, as there aren’t many difficult tasks. However, there is a substantial amount of XP up for grabs if you complete each challenge. To finish the set though, you need to what the tasks are and the best to complete them.

Completing the Fortnite Season 5 – Week 4 challenges

In Week 4 of Fortnite Season 5, there’s a potential 250,000 XP able to be earned through challenges. Luckily, most of them don’t expire, so you can take your time completing each one. Although, there is one timed trial that expires soon.

You can complete any of the challenges in whatever Fortnite mode you choose. For the quickest route through the set though, we recommend hopping into Team Rumble. The mode allows you to respawn and it’s far less competitive than the standard playlists.

Here are the Fortnite Season 5 – Week 4 challenges:

  • Eliminations within 5m (0/1)
  • Eliminations while below 50 health (0/1)
  • Eliminations at full health and shields (0/1)
  • Destroy enemy structures with a pickaxe (0/10)
  • Damage opponents with a pickaxe (0/100)
  • Collect a tomato basket from a nearby farm (0/1)
  • Ignite and dance at a Tomato Shrine near Pizza Pit or Pizza Food Truck
  • Damage from above:
    • 4,000, 8,000, 12,00, 16,00, 20,000

The first seven tasks are as straightforward as it gets in Fortnite. Dealing damage and eliminating opponents is your main goal but you also need to search for a tomato basket. That basket can be found where Frenzy Farm used to be, northwest of Colossal Coliseum.

As for the last challenge, this is the time trial. You have until December 30 to deal 20,000 damage from above. However, if you keep building up and shooting at enemies, the challenge will eventually be complete. The timed challenge is worth 110,000 XP in total, so it’s worth it to finish it entirely.

That’s it for the Season 5 – Week 4 challenges! Make sure to stay tuned to Daily Esports for all Fortnite news.
