Epic Games has officially released the v18.30 update in Fortnite Season 8, which comes with plenty of new content for players. As always, one of the headlines in the line of content is the addition of new NPCs to the island. This week, there are four that players can find on the map and interact with. One of the NPCs is Ember, who has a fresh set of Punchcard quests for players to complete for Battle Pass XP in Fortnite.
Ember is a well-liked skin in Fortnite, as her fiery accents make her stand out on the map. Like every other NPC who’s come to Fortnite, she has five challenges for players to complete in the form of Punchcard quests. These quests are begun by talking to Ember on the island. For every challenge that players complete, they’ll earn 30,000 XP towards their Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass. Below, players can see her questline in full.
Ember’s Punchcard quests in Fortnite
To begin the questline, players can hop off of the Battle Bus and land in the middle part of the map, northwest of Corny Crops and east of Pleasant Park. She’s found on top of a mountain, known as Scenic Spot, in the middle of the orange aftermath. Once players find Ember, they can interact with her and this will start her Punchcard questline.
- Destroy a fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Place (0/1)
- Set structure on fire (0/10)
- Emote within 5m of a vehicle that’s smoking (0/1)
- Ignite an opponent with a firefly jar (0/1)
- Heal from a Campfire (0/15)
Ember has a wide variety of challenges for players to complete, none of which are overly difficult. However, as one would expect, all of them involve fire in some way. Once players complete all of the quests, they can move on to another NPC in Fortnite to earn even more XP for their Battle Pass.
