The v18.21 update in Fortnite Season 8 brought a lot of new content into the game but the newest NPC headlines the list. Ariana Grande, who performed a concert in Fortnite earlier in 2021, is now in the game as an NPC. She’s also in a new form, being a monster hunter keen on bringing down the Cube Monster army. Aside from plotline information, though, Grande has a set of Punchcard quests that players can complete for Battle Pass XP. Her first Fortnite challenge is fitting for her real-life profession, as players are required to collect a record and place it in a turntable.
This challenge comes with two parts, as players need to first know where to find the record. Next, players must know where the turntable is so they can place it. Both of these questions are answered below so that players can complete this quest with ease.
Collecting a record and placing it in a turntable in Fortnite
The record and turntable are fortunately in the same location, so players won’t need to travel far to complete this quest. The location is also where Ariana Grande resides, so players won’t need to walk far after starting her Punchcard questline.
Players will want to head to Believer Beach and talk to Ariana if they haven’t already. Once they have, they need to head for the Cap N’ Carp building, which is a short walk south of the pier. Players must then head inside of the building and go up to the second floor. The stage on the second floor will have a crate full of vinyl records, which players can interact with to collect a record. Players can then insert the record into the turntable at the front of the stage. This also requires the simple hold of the interact button.
Once done, players will complete the first quest in Ariana Grande’s line and earn themselves 30,000 XP.
