All Crate locations in High Banks – Once Human

High Banks can be a pretty tough town to clear out. There’s obviously a Mystical Crate, but then there’s also a giant balloon monster that isn’t exactly easy to defeat. On top of that, the weapon and armor crates can be hard to find.

But don’t worry, I’ve got you. I explored High Banks in the dark (why does it always have to be dark when I do these things!), so you don’t have to. Here are all the secrets to High Banks, starting with the easiest part — how to find the Mystical Crate. Just remember to bring plenty of ammo (I used almost 1,000 assault rifle rounds here).

Where is the Mystical Crate in High Banks in Once Human

This one is really easy. It’s right in the center of town, not far from the main road. You can’t miss it – it’s on a stage with a billboard covered in… whatever that stuff is. Tentacles? I don’t know.

The harder part is beating the annoying balloon monster that hangs around this crate, and here’s how to do that.

How to beat the Balloon Elite Enemy at High Banks

All you have to do is shoot at his balloon head. I know, dealing 1 damage at a time isn’t exactly going to burst him down fast, but the trick is to find the balloon that’s weak, then you’ll deal proper crit damage to him.

Fine, I’ll admit it, the first time I found him, I went running out of town with my heart thumping in my chest. He’s fast, and catches up to you pretty quick. But here’s how I beat him easily.

Go into the building just behind the Mystical crate and take out the enemies inside. Then start shooting at the balloon guy. He can’t enter the building, but you’ll still want to take cover from his attacks. He hits pretty hard.

Shoot at random balloons until you find the one that pops. That’ll deal critical damage and you’ll defeat him in no time. Someone in chat said to shoot at the glowing balloons… maybe my eyesight isn’t what it used to be, but I never saw any glowing balloons (even when I hit Q).

That’s really all there is to it. If you have sufficient cover, he’s not much of a challenge. I used an assault rifle on him and the fight was over pretty quickly.

All weapon and armor crate Locations at High Banks

These were tough to find, but all you need to do is go up the road that leads to the upper houses in town, as shown in the below screenshot. It’s the road that leads South from the center of town.

At the first house on your left-hand side, you’ll find a weapons crate on the top floor. Do be careful though, there are plenty of enemies around.

The second crate will be up this same road. Keep going up it and ignore the next house on your right-hand side (unless you want some extra materials). Just keep going up – the road feels like it goes on forever, but at the very top there’s another house.

It’s also filled with enemies, so be ready for a fight. Once you’re inside, head to the top floor and out to the balcony. That’s where you’ll find a gear crate to complete High Banks. Well done.

One More Secret of High Banks

There’s also a mini-quest in High Banks. In the same building where I told you to fight the balloon monster you’ll find some notes. These will give you instructions on where to find clues to this quest. If you want to go on your own here, the mini-quest markers on your mini-map will help you out a lot.

Overall it’s a pretty easy quest, and I don’t want to spoil it for you. So if you’d like to try it on your own, give it a shot before you scroll down (the code is below the next image).

Now I’m going to spoil for you, so be warned. The code is 325, and the chest is in the coffee shop, right in the main road. It’s near impossible to miss.
