How to do a password change in VALORANT

To start, you’re going to need either your account’s email or username to start the password change process.

One way to go through it quickly is through the Riot Account Recovery site, which will ask for your username. After entering it, Riot will send an email with a link to reset your password. After clicking it, enter a new password twice and confirm. With that, you should have a new password set for your VALORANT account.

Another way is through the Riot Client, by clicking the Can’t Sign In button below the login information. It will redirect you to the Riot Recovery page, where you can help recover both your username and change your password. After clicking the Forgot Password button, follow the instructions on the screen, similar to the link above.

How to do a password change after already signed in

To change your password when you’re already logged in, you can do so from your Riot Account page. Then, scroll down to the Riot Account Sign-In tab, where it shows your username. Just underneath that, you have the password change option.

To do so, you need to know your current password, unlike the earlier password reset options. But, if you do have it, you can easily change it from there.
