How to accept license agreement in Rocket League [SOLVED]

Accept and you shall receive.

It is routine to accept the developers’ license agreement before you play a game. However, this seemingly simple process has run into some kinks in Rocket League. The license agreement appears when you first log in to the game or when it gets changed. However, some players click past it by mistake which results into an error.

This prevents you from joining Rocket League’s online multiplayer mode right away. Additionally, having to go back to the license agreement can be tricky as it is not something that usually occurs. With this, we’ve got you covered on two surefire methods in accepting the license agreement to get you back on the game.

Method one: Restart the game

As the license agreement typically shows when you log in to the game, restarting it may just do the trick. Some players have also noticed that it reappears after waiting for a few seconds before entering the main menu. If a simple restart still does not do the trick for you, you need to try the next method of finding the license agreement.

If after accidentally missing to accept the legal agreements initially and it does not reappear even after restarting the game, you can easily find it in the main menu. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open Rocket League and go to Settings in the main menu.
  2. Go to the Extras tab.
  3. Go to Legal Agreements.
  4. Open all three agreements: EULA (End User License Agreement), Terms of Service, and Privacy.
  5. Select OK for each to accept.

Once you open and accept all three license agreements, you can now participate in Rocket League online. There are updates to it from time to time, so take note of these methods should you run into the same issue again.

If you have exhausted all methods and restarted the game after accepting all agreements did not work, your last resort is to reinstall the game (which you very likely do not have to do). However, if you follow the steps above carefully, you should be well on your way to reaching Champion Rank in Rocket League once again.
