Holt Town Exploration Guide — Once Human

It’s time for another exploration, and if you want to make sure you don’t miss anything – or if you just want to speed-run this area, our Holt town exploration guide has you covered. We’ll check out all of the weapons and armor crate locations, plus the Mystical Crate location, and even cover the riddle quest at Holt Town.

Where is the Mystical Crate at Holt Town in Once Human?

The Mystical Crate is found on the first floor of the museum building, which can be can be accessed through the hole on the roof. Once you activated the Rift Anchor, walk to the top of the roof and drop down and glide. You have to be pretty fast though.

If you can’t get it right, you can also access the crate from the manor via an elevator.

To get the crate from the museum side, you’ll need a Rosetta V2 Access card, but one can be found on a table on the first floor of the Museum.

The Mystical Crate is inside this room.

Where are the weapon and armor crates at Holt Town?

I’ve marked all of the weapon and armor crates at Holt town in the image above. The first one, which is a weapon crate, can be found in an empty pool in front of a big white house. It’s the third house on your right if you enter Holt Town from the south along the tarred road.

You can find another weapon crate in the art gallery or museum, whichever it is. It’s the big square building near the western side of town. The weapon crate is on the ground floor.

The next crate we can find is in the manor in the dining hall. It’s on the ground floor. If you enter the manor from the main entrance, take a right and it’ll be the first room on the right-hand-side.

The last crate we can find at Holt Town is behind the shed to the north-east of the manor.

And that’s it for the weapon and armor crates.

Secret Mystical Crate location at Holt Town

The hidden Mystical Crate at Holt Town can be found right next to the house with the empty pool, where the first weapons crate is found. It’s just to the west of the house, hidden behind a hedge.

Riddle Quest at Holt Town

In this quest, which can be started from the first house on the right when you enter Holt Town along the road from the South, you need find a series of clues inside the house. It’s a very easy riddle. Simply find all the clues and open the crate that appears with the pass code.

In case you didn’t manage to figure it out, the pass code is 1234. Very secure!

The Balloon Boss at Holt Town

You can beat the Balloon elite enemy at Holt Town, who is found at the playground, by popping the balloons on his head. They do have a slight glow to them when they are poppable, but in the heat of battle I just end up shooting them at random until I find the one that pops.
