Furnace Lair Exploration guide – Once Human

On next stop on the way to the Shadow Hound boss in Once Human is Furnace Lair. This place is run by the Vultures, so be prepared for a good fight. It’s not a difficult exploration, however. Just make sure to bring enough bullets.

Let’s discover all the weapons and armor crate locations and the Mystical Crate at Furnace Lair in Once Human.

Where is the Mystical Crate at Furnace Lair in Once Human?

The Mystical Crate can be found inside a large building near the southern edge of Furnace Lair, on the upper floor on the walkways. It’s really easy to spot from outside, too.

One of these crate is underground, so I’ve marked it in a different color (green). There’s also a hidden Morphic Crate, which I’ve marked in blue.

The first weapon crate can be found inside of a train cart in the same building as the Mystical Crate. Simply hop into the cart in the north-western side of the building and grab it before we move on.

The next crate we can find is underground and it’s a weapon crate in the main sacrificial chamber, I guess? (dark stuff)

I highly recommend that if you have the “In The Tall Grass” quest active here, grab it first before you go underground. I thought I’d grab it last, and I ended up having to fight all the enemies underground twice.

You can access the underground area through any of the hatches in the area. Be careful of bear traps though.

There’s also a hidden Morphic Crate behind the workshop on the eastern edge of Furnace Lair. Head over there and activate space time to discover it (Q by default).

The purple orb that leads to the hidden Mystical Crate at Furnace Lair can be found right outside the building with the Mystical Crate, to the west. It’s quite easy to spot from a distance, as it’s sitting on top of a train car as shown in the above screenshot.

And that’s all there is to it. We’re done with Furnace Lair and ready to move on. If you’re ready for the next area, my Gaia Military Base Exploration guide is your next stop.
