However, in Season 9, the hidden Battle Star isn’t actually a traditional Battle Star. Instead, Fortnite decided to replace it with a FortByte. Introduced in Season 9, FortBytes are scattered around the map and have clues attached to them to help you find their location.

The clue for Week 2 can be found in the unlockable loading screen. Once you’ve completed every Week 2 challenge, this loading screen will become available.

So, with this loading screen as our clue, where can we find the hidden FortByte?

While this image doesn’t give us much information, the description of the image does. If you go to your loading screen menu and hover over this image, you can read exactly where to go.

Last Seen battling at Dino Park outhouse, these two can’t be stopped. Part of the Utopia set.

There’s only one spot on the map with dinosaurs, and that’s Paradise Palms. In the southeastern part of the island, you can find some prehistoric creatures.

Head on over to the spot marked above. You should see three fake dinosaurs surrounding the road. Next to these dinosaurs stands a one-story gray house with a port-a-poddy in the backyard. This is the outhouse you’re looking for. Simply stand near it and hold the interact button when it prompts you. With that, the hidden FortByte is yours!

While this isn’t a normal Battle Star, it does unlock FortByte #13, which puts you one step closer to solving the Season 9 mystery. Fortnite could still switch things up, but it looks like FortBytes will be taking the place of weekly Battle Stars for this season. Either way, it makes for a great scavenger hunt around the island.

We hope this helped your search for the hidden FortByte! Keep up with Daily Esports for all Fortnite news and updates.
