As if Fortnite Season 2 couldn’t get fans any more excited, it appears that Marvel’s Deadpool will be making an appearance. As seen on the promotional image above, Deadpool and his infamous red outfit will be included in this season’s Battle Pass. However, players will need to purchase the premium version of the pass to gain access to Deadpool. While that may seem harsh, the anti-hero also comes with his own unique set of challenges. Let’s take a look at the Deadpool skin and challenges and see if it’s worth 950 V-Bucks.
Deadpool coming to Fortnite Season 2
Fans have long-awaited the day for one of the most famous Marvel characters to make an appearance in Fortnite. After all, we did see an Avengers event last year but Deadpool, of course, wasn’t a part of that.
However, now it seems Epic Games is finally giving the sword-wielding crusader his time in the spotlight. On the premium version of the Season 2 Battle Pass, Deadpool can be unlocked. The description for when you unlock him reads:
- A BattlePass is required to access Deadpool and his challenges.
- If you want to see Deadpool again, deliver 950 unmarked V-Bucks to the Battle Pass.
Obviously, this means you’ll have to buy the Battle Pass. However, the first line states that Deadpool will come with challenges. This most likely means that his skin will have upgradeable styles that you can earn by completing his challenges. While we don’t have access to all of them, we do know one of the challenges thanks to @FortTory on Twitter.
Deadpool will have challenges, and this is one of them:

This is a classic Fortnite “search” challenge but Epic Games has put a Deadpool-style spin on it. This should give players an extra incentive for buying the Season 2 Battle Pass as the Deadpool skin and challenges look amazing. Also, we can have a look at Deadpool’s hideout within the Season 2 Battle Pass thanks to @FNBRHQ.
