In celebration of the NBA’s 75th anniversary and the NBA All-Star event, the basketball league and Fortnite have joined forces again to bring more content in the battle royale game. This time around, players will get the chance to vote to bring a celebration from the NBA into the game through the in-game client.
Voting will run from Feb. 16-23 in the NBA 75 All-Star Hub in the Fortnite client itself, specifically in the Vote to Emote screen. Players can vote between three celebrations from three athletes in the All-Star competition, which include Giannis Antetokounmpo’s sit-down celebration, Joel Embiid’s airplane celebration and Trae Young’s cold celebration.
To vote, players must go up to their preferred emote and interact with the button underneath it.
Other content available during this collaboration
Players can also unlock a spray in the All-Star Hub by shooting baskets into the hoops strewn around the area. The area also has other quests that players can compete for XP and other unlockable content. The In The Paint Set is also available for purchase now with 10 skins available, each with three styles in different colors. Players can also display a logo of their favorite team in the NBA with the new NBA Beacon Back Bling. The new set also comes with all 30 different uniforms from the basketball league, along with the grey and red NBA All-Star uniforms from this year’s event.
Content from the NBA’s last collaboration with the Epic Games title is also returning with the Dribblin emote, Mini Hoop and NBA Championship Trophy Back Blings and the Hookshot Toy.
The NBA All-Star event starts at 8 p.m. EST on Feb. 20 and will feature skill, shooting and dunk contests as well as an All-Star game matchup between the best in the league.
