Fortnite has a fresh new Icon Series emote called Me & You and it’s poised to bring more musical action into the game outside of in and out of Fortnite Festival.
This emote is one that has caused some confusion as it seemingly disappeared from the Fortnite Item Shop for a time, so you might be wondering, what is this emote and how exactly can I get it?
What does Fortnite’s Me & You emote look like
Fortnite’s new Me & You emote will see your character playing the guitar while a tune plays as a result. If you have multiple players together this gets even more awesome as the emotes synch up to put on the perfect musical performance.
In fact, the emote can even be used in LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival to bring some block-shaped charm into the mix.
How to get the Me & You emote in Fortnite
The new Me & You emote will be made available via the Fortnite store. It isn’t clear exactly when this will happen as like all Fortnite cosmetics, items rotate throughout the store each day, but it should be soon. In fact, at the time of writing it’s in the store right now.
Some players had a chance to purchase it when it appeared in the Fortnite store on Jan. 31 as part of the Signature Style tab, it was quickly taken down and has seemingly returned as we tick over to Feb. 1. If you’re looking and it isn’t there then perhaps you’ll need to wait for it to rotate through once again.
How much is the Fortnite Me & You emote
When it rotates into the Fortnite Item Shop the Me & You emote will cost 500 V-Bucks, so make sure you stock up before it arrives.
This isn’t anything out of the ordinary as this emote is a Synced emote so it can be done alongside multiple players to be even more epic. Typically these emotes come at a slightly higher price than others.
Perhaps in the future, this price will come down, but for now, when it gets here that’s what you can expect to pay for Me & You.
