Fortnite leak suggests Season 4 could feature a full-on Marvel theme

Chapter 2 – Season 4 of Fortnite arrives next week and the rumor mill is starting to churn out more leaks than ever. While nothing is concrete until Epic Games releases a trailer or patch notes (fingers crossed), leaks of this nature are rarely inaccurate. Today, a new rumor has surfaced that the Season 4 theme could be centered around the Marvel Cinematic Universe. More specifically, several characters from The Avengers could return to Fortnite. Heroes including Thor and Captain America have been leaked before, but that wasn’t for the entirety of Season 4.

Fortnite and Marvel coming together again?

We’ve previously seen skins like Captain America, Fat Thor, and Hulk arrive in the Item Shop. However, these were one-off occurrences and in no way hinted that Epic Games could be planning for an event on a much larger scale.

While there have been leaks that Thor could play a major role in Season 4, they haven’t been confirmed. Although, more and more leaks have come out that support the theory of Marvel being the centerpiece of Season 4. We’ve seen a comic book leak, various cosmetics in the files, and now a “trusted source” saying Season 4 is Marvel-themed.

HYPEX is a well-respected member of the Fortnite community, so his tweets hold some value. According to his source, Thor and his associated cosmetics could be on the Season 4 Battle Pass. If this is indeed true, then it opens the door for even more Marvel characters to enter the Fortnite universe. Someone like Captain America could use the Bifrost, the rainbow bridge from Asgard, to arrive in Fortnite.

Of course, more heroes other than Captain America could show up as well. Perhaps the whole cast of Avengers could make their way to Season 4. After all, HYPEX did state the Season 4 trailer could begin with a little girl being saved. Who’s to say the entire Avengers squad won’t show up to save her?
