The cat’s finally out of the bag in regards to the theme of Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 4. After weeks of speculation and leaks, the official Fortnite Twitter account has confirmed that Season 4 will feature a Marvel/Thor theme. This lines up with previous leaks we’ve heard about the new season, but it wasn’t official until today. The Twitter account also gave us a date for the new installment, being August 27, which was also leaked prior to today.

The letters of Fortnite seem to feature Thor and his whitish hair along with some lighting strikes. As it’s commonly known, Thor is the God of Thunder, so players can expect that theme featured heavily in Season 4. However, beyond that, we don’t have any official details about the theme.
However, we do have some previous leaks that we can fall back on. For example, we’ve seen a comic book appear in the main menu lobby. This leak seemed to hint at the Bifrost from Asgard making some kind of appearance in Season 4. Many have speculated this is how Thor actually arrives in Fortnite and could be how other Avengers arrive as well.
Although, we only know of Thor’s appearance as of right now. While there have been leaks for Wolverine, Captain America, and other Marvel heroes, none of them have been confirmed.
Epic Games seems to be teasing that Thor will be the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass skin. Though from the marketing, it does feel like the hero will play a bigger role than other Battle Pass skins in the past. Perhaps we’ll see an all-new POI or maybe even Mjölnir, Thor’s famous hammer, come to the game. We’re simply unsure of the details surrounding Thor as of right now.
