A new leak and official evidence hint that Marvel superhero Thor could be included in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 4. This wouldn’t be the first that Epic Games and Marvel have teamed up, as the two entertainment giants have collaborated multiple times in the past. We’ve seen Thanos, The Avengers, and The Guardians of the Galaxy all appear in Fortnite. However, Epic seems to be taking the addition of Thor a little more seriously. There’s evidence of a crossover event but also leaks that suggest Thor could play a pivotal role in Season 4.

The evidence for a Thor event in Fortnite

A few days ago, leaks were going around that revolved around the “Hightower Event.” Essentially, this event is set to create a new POI, bring Rifts back, and possibly segue Fortnite from Season 3 into Season 4. Dataminers also found a symbol that seemed to coincide with the event.

If this symbol looks familiar, it could be because you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While not confirmed, the symbol looks a lot like the one left behind by the Bifrost when Asgardians travel to different realms. Asgard also just happens to be the home of Thor.

In addition to this leak, however, we also saw Fortnite release a new skin into the game. Named “Relaxed Fit Jonesy,” the skin bears a shocking resemblance to Thor in Avengers: Endgame.

If that wasn’t enough, another leaker, @HYPEX, found some more Thor-related content within the game files.

All of this added up makes it nearly impossible to ignore the fact that Thor is coming to Fortnite in some shape or fashion. Perhaps it will be another crossover event like we’ve seen with The Avengers in the past. Or, Epic Games could make Thor a pivotal part of Season 4. Maybe the Hightower Event centers around the superhero and creates a new Thor-themed POI.

At this moment, anything is on the table. Season 4 is just a couple weeks away, however, so we should know more details soon.
