A new trio forms in the East

Zayt, Saf, and Zyfa could not have waited any longer to pick their team. The morning of the Fortnite Championship Series, the trio decided to play together. They managed to qualify for the final round on Sunday after little practice, narrowly edging out the second-place team by one point. In nine games, they only finished outside of the top 10 twice, ending with 57 eliminations and one victory. Most importantly, the team secured seven eliminations and third place in their last game, just enough points for the top spot.

Another trio formed shortly before the tournament also outperformed expectations. Mason “Symfuhny” Lanier, Malachi “Reverse2k” Greiner, and Slackes joined together only a couple days before the Fortnite Championship Series Week Two games began. Amazingly, the trio finished in fourth place in their first attempt, earning a spot in the Season Finals and a sizable cash prize.

Here are the top eight qualifying teams from NAE:

The most recent performance is also the most impressive, with the team racking up 77 eliminations in eight games and winning three. Overall, the trio continues to impress other players and fans. The run they are on is significant and should not be overlooked.
