The Fortnite Champion Series is almost over. Week 4 both saw surprises and met expectations. The East region saw a new trio take the top spot. On the other hand, the same teams dominated the West region. Each week the stakes rise. In NAE, a trio from Oceania took first place. Chélan “zoreh” Sherman, Abdullah “Parpy” Khudeish, and Jahlyn “Jahlyn” Evernden flew over to boot camp in North America. In Week 4, they achieved first place in a very competitive region. Then Reza “Symetrical” Ebrahimi Manie, “Leno“, and Shane “EpikWhale” Cotton won the NAW region. Both teams had a considerable lead over the respective second-place teams.
OCE takes down NA East
Jahlyn, zoreh, and Parpy are all among the top players from Oceania. Besides the Fortnite World Cup, players from different regions rarely used to compete against one another. Now, as competitive Fortnite evolves, players travel to train and compete in new regions. The OCE trio moved to North America for a boot camp. They wanted to improve and compete against one of the top regions. After a few weeks, the team proved they can compete against anyone.
The trio won four out of nine games in the final round. Their performance gave them 142 points with a 33-lead over second place. Overall, they eliminated 64 total players. Jahlyn, zoreh, and Parpy played incredibly down the stretch to win three out of four of the final four games. The other game they came in second. Their move to North America paid off.

Teams have one more week to qualify for the season finals. Eight teams qualify in each region. Then another group of players qualifies by accumulating Series Points throughout the FNCS. A total of 132 teams reach the season finals and compete for the top prize. Clear contenders have arisen, but can a new team rise during the season finals?
