In a post on Twitter, FIFA‘s console partner PlayStation tweeted about the demo. In the tweet, PlayStation posted an image, which was a promotional piece from EA. It shows some of the things that we will find in the demo. Whilst writing this article, the official EA Sports FIFA Twitter account revealed the full image for the demo. This acts as a confirmation for every FIFA player out there.

FIFA 19 Demo Content

The demo will act as a preview to the final iteration of “The Journey” along with Champions League gameplay and also an array of top-tier teams to play. These teams include:

  • Juventus
  • Real Madrid
  • Manchester United
  • Manchester City
  • FC Bayern Munich
  • Paris Saint Germain
  • Atletico Madrid
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • AS Roma
  • Tottenham Hotspur

All of these teams are qualified for the Champions League this season, therefore we can expect to see all of the Kick-Off games being played in the Champions League environment.

The demo will act as a good first impression teaser for many in the FIFA community. I, along with many others, will be religiously playing the demo, to ensure that our skills are up to scratch when the game officially releases on September 28.

As for other content in the demo, we will have to see. However, it is likely that PlayStation has given us all of the information in this tweet. It would be great if we could see things such as new Ultimate Team features being showcased in the demo. We had this in the FIFA 16 demo with the new Draft feature.

Finally, we have most likely already seen the preview of “The Journey” online already. Game Changers, who attended Gamescom, were able to play a demo build of the game, and most of them uploaded the first preview of the mode. You can watch the video below to check it out for yourself. Bear in mind that there may be spoilers to the full story.

How much will you be playing the FIFA 19 demo? We’d love to hear from you. Also, check out our other FIFA 19 coverage here. You will be sure to get the latest FIFA information there.
