The popular streaming platform Twitch has banned and removed FaZe H1ghSky1 due to the age requirements. This move comes after the allegations from Turner “Tfue” Tenney in a lawsuit. Tfue’s legal team claimed that the gaming organization FaZe Clan prompted H1ghSky1’s parents to lie about his age. Twitch requires streamers to be 13 years old or older in order to stream on the platform.
Twitch has not yet made a statement about why they banned the streamer. While his exact age is not confirmed, Tfue’s lawsuit indicates he is younger than 13, which violates the Terms of Service. He streamed on Twitch before joining FaZe Clan, though, so it is still unconfirmed whether the organization knew the player’s age before the signing.
no statement from Twitch yet on how long the suspension/ban is for. you must be 13 or older to stream on Twitch or YouTube. as noted, h1ghsky has been streaming on twitch since before he joined FaZe

What’s next for H1ghSky1?
Both Twitch and YouTube require creators to be at least 13 years old, and parental consent must be given for those under 18 years old. H1ghSky1’s Twitch channel has been removed, but his YouTube channel remains, with over 800,000 subscribers.
Technically, YouTube’s parent company, Google, requires users to be at least 13 years old when creating accounts. Other users break those requirements too, of course, but YouTube tends to leave the content on their site. It was only recently that YouTube changed the requirements to stream on the platform. Any user under 18 years old must now have a parent present.
Finally, Epic Games requires players to be 13 years old to compete in the Fortnite World Cup. H1ghSky1 violates those terms as well. He likely will be unable to compete in the remaining weeks of the competition. Any earnings from the competition will be negated due to his age.
All that said, H1ghSky1 is still a great Fortnite player. His future in gaming is bright and appears to be headed up. Once this cloud passes and he turns 13 years old, the player can return to broadcasting and content creation. Hopefully, his parents take responsibility for these actions and help the child get past all these problems. In addition, FaZe also continues to back the gamer. The team’s support should help H1ghSky1 moving forward.
