Who is DestinysJesus?

The 20-year-old professional Fortnite coach hails from England and has quite an impressive resume. During Fortnite World Cup Qualifiers, DestinysJesus performed at a high level. In Solos, he had placements in the top 100. Similarly, he placed in the top 50 multiple times. Following the qualifiers, DestinysJesus decided to dedicate his time to coaching. As a result, top-tier talent from FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves, and other organizations tapped into him in an attempt to find success at the World Cup, such as Benjy “Benjyfishy” Fish, Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson, Dmitri “Mitr0” Van de Vrie, and Fortnite World Cup champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf.

After that, DestinysJesus signed on with FaZe Clan as their professional Fortnite team’s head coach in November 2019. In other words, he’s one of the best. After DestinysJesus tested positive for coronavirus, he uploaded a vlog showing how his eighth day of quarantine went.

I reached out to Hugh, and he wanted to provide an update. As of today, he has been sick for 12 days without relief from his coughing or fever. However, he is now having fewer headaches and his breathing has improved.

How to protect yourself from coronavirus

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued several steps you can take to stay safe. These include the following:

  • Wash your hand frequently. Use hand sanitizer with an alcohol base if you’re unable to wash.
  • Use tissues when you need to cough or sneeze. Dispose of the trash immediately after use.
  • Do NOT touch your mouth, eyes, or nose with unwashed or unsanitized hands.
  • Clean and disinfect items and areas that commonly come into contact with others.
  • If possible, socially distance yourself from others.
  • If sick, it is imperative to stay home.

Many are eager to enjoy their time at home. Above all, gamers everywhere are excited to get in more playtime. However, make sure to disinfect your controllers, keyboards, and mice before use if a friend comes over.
