FaZe Clan announced a year-long apparel collaboration with American entertainment giant, Disney on Monday. The apparel collaboration will run throughout 2022 and feature several collections. As part of it, FaZe will introduce Mickey Mouse as a newly tech-vamped “Mickey on the Grid.”
Mickey on the Grid will be the first Disney Capsule collection from Faze and will be available starting Saturday. Moreover, this collaboration is one of the biggest for FaZe and the first between both companies. With this, FaZe Clan continue to expand its reach and also increase its collaborations with renowned brands.
“We are beyond proud to collaborate with Disney on this special ‘Mickey On The Grid’ capsule collection, and it’s extra meaningful both for our talent and our fans for this to drop on FaZe Clan’s 12th anniversary,” said Jay “JVY” Richardson, creative director of FaZe Clan. “This year-long collaboration is a part of our ongoing expansion into retail and consumer products.”
FaZe announced the promotion of JVY to the creative director on May 2 alongside the establishment of a retail pop-up store named The Armory.
Faze Clan x Disney — Mickey on the Grid item details
The Mickey on the Grid collection includes T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats designed by FaZe Clan’s lead designer, James Casper Vine, JVY and Disney’s creative team. The collection aims to bring Mickey Mouse to life through shoppable products.
Furthermore, FaZe plans to surprise fans with different capsules throughout the year. The first Disney capsule collection from FaZe will be on sale in-store on Saturday at The Armory on Fairfax and Melrose, Los Angeles, in partnership with NTWRK and Shopify.
The shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. After this, the collection will be online on May 30 at 3 p.m. ET to celebrate FaZe Clan’s 12th anniversary. Anyone looking to purchase the Mickey on the Grid Collection can do so on the FaZe shop.
