Fallout 76 Bethesda beta October

Fallout 76 beta starts this October

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Bethesda’s Fallout 76 beta starts this October just one month before its scheduled release. The game, which sees the Fallout franchise shift from a single-player experience to an online multiplayer world, has faced some criticism and doubts. After all, a beloved single-player franchise requiring online connectivity and player competition might end up shocking some longtime fans. The past announcements led credence to that belief, especially with nukes dropping all over the place and the world being barren and empty save for roaming (and griefing) players.

Bugs tend to infest multiple Bethesda games upon release, and so players should be eager to find the issues beforehand during their beta stages. Those who pre-order Fallout 76 from participating retailers will receive a code either on their receipt or through email. Those who pre-order via online stores for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Bethesda.net will receive their code via their registered email as well.

Upon receiving their code, players will need to create a Bethesda.net account and redeem it on the website. Then, it all comes down to waiting until they receive an email that they can participate in the beta.

There are still so many questions left unanswered for Fallout 76. Will it be another battle royale? Will it be an esport? Or is Bethesda going to stay true to their roots and deliver a wonderfully-crafted experience? Those questions will be answered in due time such as during the upcoming QuakeCon. Most especially, players will get a feel of the game once they participate in the beta this October. As usual, Daily Esports will keep you updated with more Fallout 76 coverage.
