Whether you’re taking down enemies with Rush minions, or reminiscing about the old days of Pirate Warrior going face, the Warrior class in Hearthstone has been represented by Garrosh Hellscream since its debut. However, there are alternatives to the classic Garrosh Warrior portrait in Hearthstone.
This guide will provide all the answers on how to get them.
Corrupt Garrosh
This portrait is a tribute to when Garrosh absorbed the Heart of Y’Shaarj’s powers during the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria expansion. Both Horde and Alliance players fought against Garrosh before he collapsed from his injuries.
To obtain the Corrupt Garrosh portrait, Hearthstone players must win 1,000 times as the Warrior class in Arena, Duels or Ranked mode.
Nagrand Garrosh
Nagrand refers to the place where Garrosh was quarantined during his childhood. He was sick with red pox and ashamed of his father, Grommash Hellscream, who drank Mannoroth’s blood. During the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion, Nagrand was also the place where Garrosh fought against Thrall.
In the past, this portrait was available in the Nagrand Garrosh Bundle, between December 16, 2020 and January 5, 2021.
Garrosh of Might
In this particular portrait, Garrosh is wearing the Battlegear of Might armor set. According to the official World of Warcraft: Exploring Azeroth – The Eastern Kingdoms book, the Battlegear of Might gives warriors heavy defenses. Those who wear the armor set are also known to channel their rage to defeat their enemies.
To get this portrait, Hearthstone players must select that option after reaching level 100 in the “Forged in the Barrens” Rewards Track. In the past, this was also available through the “Madness at the Darkmoon Faire” Rewards Track, when players reached level 50.
Garrosh of Wrath
This portrait features the Battlegear of Wrath armor set from the World of Warcraft universe. Most of the Tier 2 drops can be obtained in the Blackwing Lair dungeon. The legplates, however, can be dropped by Ragnaros in another dungeon.
To get Garrosh of Wrath in Hearthstone, players must complete the Tavern Regular achievement and then select it.
Lü Bu Garrosh
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Hearthstone released special alternative portraits. The Three Kingdoms skins were inspired by a Chinese tale known as the Romance of Three Kingdoms.
In 2021, Lü Bu Garrosh was available between February 9 and February 19 in the Three Kingdoms Mini Bundle and the Three Kingdoms Bundle.
Magni Bronzebeard
The former King of Khaz Modan boasts a rich history when it comes to World of Warcraft lore. He went up against Arthas’ forces, helped his brother restore his memories and even gifted Fearbreaker to Anduin Wrynn.
In the past, the Magni Bronzebeard portrait was obtainable via the in-game shop.
Deathwing
Aspect of Death, the Destroyer, the Worldbreaker. Deathwing has many names and they all highlight his ability to reign destruction upon Azeroth. Before he was corrupted by the Old Gods, he was the leader of his dragonflight.
In the past, Deathwing was obtainable through pre-purchasing a Descent of Dragons bundle.
Annhylde
After the defeat of Arthas in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion, Annhylde made Sylvanas Windrunner an offer. In order to free her sisters from the Lich King, the Val’kyr bound their souls to Sylvanas. Annhylde sacrificed her life to complete the pact.
In the past, Annhylde was available by purchasing the Tavern Pass and unlocking level 25 of the “Madness at the Darkmoon Faire” Rewards Track.
Young Rokara
A member of the Frostwolf clan, Rokara hopes to be a great hero one day. Inspired by Thrall and Grommash, she wants to be a part of the Horde. Rokara is also a character who is original to Hearthstone.
To get this portrait, players must purchase the “Forged in the Barrens” Tavern Pass and unlock level 5 in the associated Rewards Track.
Recruit Rokara
This portrait features Rokara continuing her journey as a recruit. When she first arrived in Orgrimmar, she was tested by Bru’kan of the Darkspear clan. Rokara had to prove her abilities and train in the Barrens.
To get this portrait, players must purchase the “Forged in the Barrens” Tavern Pass and unlock level 40 in its Rewards Track.
