Evergreen Vineyard Exploration guide — Once Human

Evergreen Vineyard… more Vultures, which recently means more underground areas. Ugh. Also, there’s a really scary… um, scarecrow, here. So let’s just get into it, shall we? Here are all the crate locations, the Mystical Crate location, and some guidance on the quest at Evergreen Vineyard. Let’s go.

Where is the Mystical Crate at Evergreen Vineyard in Once Human?

The Mystical crate is located in a large white building which is almost in the dead center of town in Evergreen Vineyard.

Head inside the building and you’ll immediately see it up above. Just head up and grab it (after dispatching the Vultures, of course), and we can move on to all the weapon and armor crates at Evergreen Vineyard.

Where are the weapon and armor crates at Evergreen Vineyard?

The first crate is a gear crate and it’s in the same building as the Mystical Chest, but it’s on the lower floor.

Another weapon crate can be found in the yellow house just north of the big white house.

The next weapon crate we come across is hidden underground. You can find it by taking the stairs near the scarecrow at the southern-most house just before the vineyards start.

As you progress and defeat the vulture enemies here, you’ll see the weapon crate on your right-hand side. Be careful of bear traps hidden underground, too.

Another weapon crate can be found inside the building shown below. It’s just two buildings east of where the scarecrow and the underground entrance is.

We can find yet another great crate in the big blue building to the north of town.

We’ve been in this situation before. Simply enter the building and use the elevator at the back to go up and then follow the walkway and drop down to the gear crate. That’s it, we’re done with the crates. But there’s one more thing we can do at Evergreen Vineyard.

The Scarecrow quest at Evergreen Vineyard

You’ll find the scarecrow near the entrance to the underground area by the southern-most house at Evergreen Vineyard, just into the settlement before the vineyard starts. To activate the quest, run around here until V speaks to you. If you don’t have this quest, you’ll need to speak to Lowe in Tall Grass Inn (the safe area for Chalk Peak).

Once this happens, you can interact with the scarecrow. Then you should run. I made the mistake of not running, and I almost got melted by the thing. I was trying to loot the weapon crate again, but the scarecrow REALLY didn’t want me to.

Keep following the quest prompts until you’re able to fight the scarecrow. At this point, it’s a pretty easy fight, and you’ll be able to grab yourself the Shattered Maiden Deviation.
