Evergreen Exploration guide — Once Human

Evergreen has a couple of powerful elite enemies, but beyond that, there’s not too much challenge here. Except if you’re pulling out your hair trying to find the Mystical Crate, like I was! The Mystical Crate at Evergreen can be difficult to find, so let’s just start there, shall we?

Where is the Mystical Crate at Evergreen in Once Human?

The Mystical Crate can be found in the bell tower of the large building near the centre of town. There’s a ladder up to the roof behind this building, and the ladder into the bell tower is on the left side as you approach.

There’s also a hidden Mystical Chest, which can be found in the cul-de-sac to the east of town. You’ll see it as you approach the cul-de-sac.

With that out of the way, let’s check weapon and armor crate locations at Evergreen.

Where are the weapon and armor crates at Evergreen in Once Human?

We can find out first gear crate near the centre of town, where we’ll also meet the Weather Forecast Elite enemy. The little town square with the statue has a gear crate just sitting out in the open.

Our next crate, which is a weapon crate, can be found in the large building just south of the centre of town. After picking up the gear crate, just turn around and head into the building behind you. It’s on the ground floor, at the western end of the building. You’ll see a strange pink light nearby as well.

The next gear crate we’ll find is in the centre of a cul-de-sac to the east of town, right by a tree.

You’ll have to jump over the wall to get to it, and that’s all the weapon and armor crates I managed to find in Evergreen.

Elite Enemy locations in Evergreen and how to beat them

Your first Elite Enemy at Evergreen can be found in the centre of town, near the statue. It’s a Weather Forecast (creative name for a monster, shall we say!). Do not enter this fight unprepared. These things are tough, have plenty of health, and the shockwave attack can very quickly deplete your HP.

Be ready for a difficult fight.

Our next Elite Enemy can be found just before a cul-de-sac further east in town, and it’s something called “The Butchers.” This is another tough enemy that can be taken out fairly quickly with a high-powered Sniper Rifle, but fighting him on even ground can be quite tough if you’re up for a challenge.

Just focus on his weak spot and avoid his attacks, and you’ll be fine.

All storage crate locations at Evergreen in Once Human

The storage crates are less important, but always worth getting as they can sometimes contain furniture formulas (if you like building, like I do). Head to the location marked on the map and activate Space Time (Q by default) to get them.

None of the storage crates in Evergreen are hard to find, but there is one last little bonus here.

Bonus: Recipe at Evergreen

You can also find a recipe in the small restaurant in town near the northern exit.

Simply head inside and collect the recipe near the counter on a table, and that’s it, we’re done with Evergreen. Hope you remembered to activate both Rift Anchors! Time to head to our next location.
