Echo earned the top spot in The Great Push Season 4 Europe Final, which advanced them to The Great Push Finals. By finishing second, team Monka also secured a spot in the matches happening between Sept. 2-4.
The Great Push Season 4
The Great Push Season 4 began with the Proving Grounds phase. From Aug. 10-15, World of Warcraft teams pushed keys within multiple dungeons to earn a spot in the regional qualifiers. Next, the top six teams fought for the gold and silver.
Since teams Ambition and Donuts & Disbear placed the highest in the kick-off weekend, they will also be competing in the upcoming World of Warcraft esports action alongside Echo and Monka.
Echo and Monka push keys to absolute limit
By the end of the first day, both Echo and Monka were tied with 120 scores. Both teams excelled in the four dungeons, including Tazavesh Gambit, Mecha Junkyard, Lower Karazhan and Upper Karazhan. While Echo’s own fastest dungeon completion happened in the Lower Karazhan dungeon with a time of 27:36, Monka excelled in Tazavesh Gambit with a time of 22:13 at keystone 29.
On Day 2, Monka rose to the top with 160 points while Echo was hot on their heels at 159. Monka continued to do well in the Tazavesh Gambit dungeon, achieving keystone 32 with a time of 29:49. The team also got the best time for Lower Karazhan. Meanwhile, Echo players were the best in Upper Karazhan.
When it all came down to the final day, Echo and Monka were neck-and-neck, each with a total score of 193. Echo did the best in the Lower Karazhan dungeon while Monka took Mecha Workshop. Since Echo got the best overall time, the team took the gold and advanced to The Great Push Finals happening next month.
