Murlocs of despair at WoW MDI

Donuts and Despair players raced through dungeons against RG Nordics in the first round, earning a score of 2-0. They continued with a 2-0 win streak in the quarterfinals. However, when Donuts and Despair faced Sloth in the semifinals, the former team got pushed into the elimination bracket. This meant Donuts and Despair fought against W Omegalul in the lower bracket before facing Sloth in the grand finals for a rematch.

When it came down to the last match on championship Sunday, Donuts and Despair and Sloth began with Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit. For the first pull, both teams popped Bloodlust to take on trash plus a Coastwalker Goliath. Sloth soon incurred three deaths, and although that didn’t stop them as they pushed forward, they suffered more deaths as mobs of Murkbrine showed no mercy.

Meanwhile, Donuts and Despair pulled ahead, entering Hylbrande’s area and depleting the boss’ health total. The team defeated the boss in under five minutes after getting through Hylbrande’s DPS and immune phases. Donuts and Despair then stealthed ahead before taking down some trash and the Timecap’n Hooktail boss. This was followed up by duking it out against all of So’leah’s phases and taking the first point in the World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon International Group C finals.

Both teams headed to the Mists of Tirna Scithe dungeon next, taking down trash on their way to the first boss. When they reached Ingra Maloch, they also fought against Droman Oulfarran, with both teams neck-and-neck before Sloth achieved a photo-finish by only one second.

However, after dealing with some Mistveil trash in the Mistcaller maze, Donuts and Despair defeated the Mistcaller boss first. The team went ahead and fought the final boss, Tred’ova, next while Sloth was still trying to end Mistcaller. When Tred’ova went down to zero health, Donuts and Despair closed out the match with a 2-0 score and became the World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon International Group C champions.
