The Spy in the Jungle Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty takes place in one of the cooler locations in Dogtown. You have to travel to a museum to track down a missing member of a Brazilian intelligence agency. However, when you get there, several enemies are guarding the location, meaning you either have to sneak or fight your way through.
Regardless of what path you pick, you eventually have to take on the final boss of the Gig, Boris Ribakov.
Ribakov appears after you have killed all of the other enemies and you have ventured into the area where the missing agent is located. At first, it might seem like Ribakov is nearly impossible to even hit with a shot, let alone kill. Luckily, there is a strategy you can use to easily get past the boss and complete the Spy in the Jungle Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
How to defeat Boris Ribakov in Cyberpunk 2077
Ribakov’s primary gimmick is that he throws a smoke grenade down and goes invisible when moving around. He also moves quite quickly when he’s invisible, making him even harder to hit.
The best strategy I found to take down Ribakov is to shoot the middle of the smoke whenever he throws it down. He’s almost always at the center of the smoke and you can get some free shots on him when he’s there.
As for when he goes invisible, you can sort of track him, but he will always go to the same few places to throw down a smoke grenade. So once you know those locations, you can track him much easier. If you manage to spot him while he’s invisible, definitely take some shots, as he’s fully able to be hit when he’s traveling to his next location.
About halfway through the fight, Ribakov will travel to another area of the museum and unleash a few drones into the air. You need to kill all of those drones before Ribakov will appear again, but the drones don’t put up much of a fight. Once that’s done, Ribakov will return to his normal pattern of throwing down smokes and going invisible.

As long as you’re shooting whenever you get a chance, which is when he’s invisible or in the middle of the smoke, you should be able to easily whittle down Ribakov’s health until it reaches zero. After you kill him, you can progress in the Spy in the Jungle quest in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
