Cyberpunk 2077: Can you romance Alex?

Is there any chemistry between you two?

Across your journey in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, you will meet several new characters that make their first appearance in Dogtown. One of those characters is Alex, who is a former FIA agent who now moonlights as the owner of a bar. When you first meet Alex, you might notice some flirtatious language on her end, but this is mainly just an act. Alex soon transforms into a completely new person when Solomon Reed makes himself known, and the flirtatious language goes away quickly.

Of course, you might be wondering if there’s a way to regain the connection you first had with Alex when you walked into her bar. More specifically, you’re likely here to see if there are any future romance options with Alex in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. Luckily, I’m here to tell all, and you can read the answer to your question in the guide below.

Can you romance Alex in Cyberpunk 2077?

Unlike with Songbird, there are actually some moments with Alex in Cyberpunk 2077 that make you think a romance is possible. As a slight spoiler, there is one point during the middle of Phantom Liberty where you have the option to meet up with Alex at her bar and have a little drinking and dancing session with her.

Unfortunately, this is as far as it can go with Alex. It is not possible to romance Alex, or any other Phantom Liberty character for that matter. Despite some signs that might make you think differently, Alex is not a romance option in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, and you will see why as the expansion’s story progresses. I don’t want to spoil anything regarding the story, so that’s all I will say.

If you truly like Alex’s character, then I recommend taking whatever chance you have to interact with her throughout the expansion. There are a couple of times when you can be alone with her, so take full advantage of those chances, even if it doesn’t lead anywhere.
