Counter Logic Gaming has announced an expanded marketing partnership with computer hardware and consumer electronics company Newegg. This will place the tech retailer as the esports organization’s presenting partner and online technology retail partner for its North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) team.

“Strengthening our collaboration with CLG gives Newegg the opportunity to become even more entrenched in the esports movement, connecting with an enthusiastic fan base that aligns particularly well with our customer base,” said Andrew Choi, Senior Brand Manager at Newegg, in a release. “We’re excited to make the latest gaming tech available to CLG’s players, and we look forward to another year of bringing spirited esports competition to fans across the globe.”
The partnership will see the brand integration of Newegg on all of Counter Logic Gaming’s jerseys, which includes its League of Legends and Fortnite teams. The esports organization’s performance center and other digital platforms will showcase the logo placement as well.
Through this collaboration, Counter Logic Gaming’s players will have the opportunity to utilize the latest gaming PCs, monitors, and peripherals that are offered by Newegg. In addition, the organization will release a limited edition jersey, featuring Newegg branding, that the League of Legends teams will wear during live matches.

Newegg will also become the presenting partner for all of the broadcasts of CLG Red, one of the most successful fully female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams. Brand activation events will be hosted at a variety of community events as well, where fans can test and evaluate products sold by Newegg.
Newegg joins Counter Logic Gaming’s existing partnerships with brands like Mountain Dew’s Game Fuel, Squarespace, Spectrum, GT Omega, Flexfit, and Twitch.
