Cloakzy might be the next FaZe Clan player on the way out

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

In the aftermath of the FaZe vs. Tfue drama, Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore, another FaZe member, made interesting comments. Cloakzy is a member of FaZe Clan and the Fortnite Duos partner for Turner “Tfue” Tenney. This puts Cloakzy in a difficult situation. His Duos partner is currently suing the team he plays for. The situation cannot be easy to handle. He has done a great job walking the line thus far.

On Tuesday morning, May 28, 2019, Cloakzy gave the Fortnite community some insight into what is happening behind the scenes. He said on stream, “I am talking to FaZe to figure out what I want to do.” The statement was clearly scripted. He even said so himself. Either FaZe Clan or Cloakzy’s advisors told him what to say. Likely, FaZe Clan would not want to see a player teaming up with a player who is the plaintiff of a lawsuit against them. Additionally, Cloakzy streamed with his team designation as “tatmanarmy” during the broadcast.

Unfortunately, that is all Lepore said on the topic. He stated that he would like to say more but was told not to. It is unlikely that he would make that statement if everything with FaZe were perfect. He clearly decided to keep his contract negotiations private, unlike his Duos partner and soon-to-be roommate Tfue.

Tfue moving to New Jersey with Cloakzy

Tfue said on Sunday, May 26, 2019, that his streaming setup arrives at Cloakzy’s home on May 28. The two players are Duos partners, so it is no surprise they want to play together for the upcoming Fortnite World Cup games. Now, Cloazky shared on stream that there is more than that. Tfue moves in with Cloakzy on May 29, 2019.

The move only further complicates the situation among Tfue, Cloakzy, and FaZe Clan. Nonetheless, Cloakzy was excited to have his friend and gaming buddy move in. They have plans to create content together outside of Fortnite.
