Blizzard delays Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City

The tournament will kick off on April 28

Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City will be pushed back one week, the Hearthstone Esports team announced on Monday. The event will now take place April 28 through May 1.

What this means to Hearthstone players

The new Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City dates mean that the final weekend of the Masters Tour 4 Qualifiers will be rescheduled as well. According to the announcement, these qualifier events will now take place between April 21-24. Interested players can still sign up via Battlefy for the qualifier tournaments throughout this month.

Invitations to Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City will be going out soon alongside information for affected competitors. The Hearthstone Esports team also noted that players who will be unable to compete because of the new dates will be offered an invitation to a remaining 2022 Masters Tour event.

Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City

Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City will feature cards and decks from the upcoming expansion. Scheduled to launch on April 12, Voyage to the Sunken City will encompass the Dredge and Colossal keywords, the Naga minion type and 135 new cards.

As players anticipate the new expansion and the Hearthstone esports action, they can snatch a free Voyage to the Sunken City Legendary card. Those with either an Amazon Prime or Prime Video account can visit Prime Gaming and claim their first in-game drop.

Players have until April 27 to claim the first drop, and if they claim it after the April 12 Voyage to the Sunken City launch, the card will be from the new expansion. Hearthstone’s Lead Game Producer, Amy Jantzer, explained this on Twitter.

Hearthstone Voyage to the Sunken City Rewards Track and more

Hearthstone will update its Rewards Track alongside the launch of Voyage to the Sunken City, Blizzard also announced on Monday. The new Rewards Track will include card packs from the expansion, a card back, Tavern Tickets, two random Legendary cards, a random Epic card, a Murky Epic Mercenary and gold. The Ambassador Faelin Legendary, 14 golden cards and the choice of one of 10 hero portraits will be available through the Rewards Track as well.

As for the Voyage to the Sunken City Tavern Pass, it will encompass experience boosts and a bunch of cosmetic items. Hearthstone players who purchase this Tavern Pass will receive a Diamond Sir Finley, Sea Guide Legendary and a 10% experience boost.

Players who progress with the Tavern Pass will earn more boosts, the Ambassador Faelin card back and hero portrait, an uncraftable Golden Blademaster Okani Legendary, three Murky Mercenary portraits, a new Bartender for Hearthstone Battlegrounds, eight Hearthstone Battlegrounds hero skins, 11 Hearthstone hero portraits and a cosmetic Coin.

The Sunken Coin will be granted after completing the first 90 levels of the Rewards Track with the Tavern Pass. To get the Zin-Azshari Coin, players must collect 135 unique cards from the new expansion.

Additionally, to get the second Diamond card from the set, Commander Sivara, players must own 25 Voyage to the Sunken City Legendary cards.
