Best WSP-9 loadout in MW3

Dominate at close range

The WSP-9 started out as one of the better submachine guns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer but has since been surpassed by the likes of the Rival-9 and Striker-9. Of course, this doesn’t mean the WSP-9 still isn’t worth using in MW3, especially if you throw on its best loadout.

Compared to other SMGs in multiplayer, the WSP-9 is really only useful at close or mid-range. While you can still use the gun at longer ranges, its recoil and damage won’t get you very far if you’re fighting an enemy with an assault rifle. Luckily, MW3 presents many opportunities for you to use guns like the WSP-9 at close range. And, with the WSP-9’s strongest set of attachments, you can easily dominate enemies in these areas.

Best WSP-9 loadout in MW3

  • Barrel: WSP Ortac Long Barrel
  • Stock: WSP Factory Stock
  • Underbarrel: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop
  • Magazine: 32 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Marauder Grip

The most important attachment on this loadout is the 32 Round Mag, as the WSP-9 only has 25 bullets in its default magazine. You need those extra seven bullets to get double kills or finish off enemies. The rest of the loadout is primarily focused on increasing recoil control, with the exception of the WSP Factory Stock, which boosts overall mobility.

I also chose to not use any optic with this loadout, as I feel the WSP-9’s iron sights are sufficient enough. However, if you do want to use an optic, I suggest removing the Marauder Grip and replacing it with something like the MK. 3 Reflector sight.
