The TAQ Eradicator light machine gun arrived in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with the newest set of Weekly Challenges in multiplayer and Zombies. You can unlock the TAQ Eradicator by completing Weekly Challenges in MW3, giving you access to a strong weapon and loadout regardless of the mode you’re playing.

While it plays like a traditional LMG in most senses, it’s also one of more unique weapons in MW3. The TAQ Eradicator shoots its first 10 bullets extremely fast and then after that, the bullets slow down to a normal pace. This means you can burst-fire the Eradicator and kill enemies much quicker with your first 10 bullets.

• Muzzle: VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor
• Barrel: Conqueror-70 Long Barrel
• Stock: Tacverte Core Stock
• Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
• Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip

The loadout for the TAQ Eradicator is centered around recoil control and damage range, as it already has solid mobility for an LMG. I have the VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor and Conqueror-70 Long Barrel equipped to increase both damage range and bullet velocity as well as recoil control. The Tacverte Core Stock and FSS Combat Grip also massively improve recoil control.

The XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop boosts both recoil control and mobility, making the TAQ Eradicator a true jack-of-all-trades weapon. However, if you want even more recoil control, I suggest going with the Bruen Heavy Support Grip as an underbarrel, which lowers mobility. I opted to forego an optic, as the Eradicator’s iron sights are great, but you can replace an attachment for an optic if you wish.
