Shotguns haven’t made their way into the meta of Call of Duty: Warzone in Season 1, but that’s no reason to not at least test them out. If you’re looking for a reliable two-three shot kill shotgun, then I recommend the Lockwood 680, which has a fast and lethal loadout in Warzone.

At close-range, the Lockwood 680 should be able to two-shot most enemies, even if they are fully-armored. However, this all depends on how accurate your shots are, which is where the Lockwood 680’s loadout comes into play.

  • Barrel: Lockwood Defender Barrel
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Stock: Sawed Off Mod
  • Guard: Matuzek XRAY Skeleton Guard

The main point of this Lockwood 680 loadout is to increase its mobility along with a slight improvement to damage range as well. The Bryson Improved Choke and Lockwood Defender Barrel accomplish the damage range goal, with the Bryson Improved Choke also tightening up the pellet spread so more shots hit an enemy. The Lockwood Defender Barrel also gives you tube ammo capacity, which means you need to be more accurate with your shots and in exchange, enemies receive more damage.

The next three attachments are all about boosting mobility. The VLK LZR 7mW laser and the Sawed Off Mod both increase aim down sights speed, sprint-to-fire time, and overall movement speed. Finally, the Matuzek XRAY Skeleton Guard increases rechambering speed along with mobility, meaning you can get shots off quicker after firing.

The Lockwood 680 might not be stronger than some other secondary weapons you could equip, but it’s a solid two-shot weapon at close-range in Warzone with this loadout.
