Best Haymaker loadout in Warzone Season 1

A backup shotgun that might be worth running

There are three shotguns you have access to in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone, and none are particularly strong options. However, if you’re dead set on using a shotgun, then you might want to take a look at the Haymaker, which has a decent loadout in Warzone.

The Haymaker is a semi-auto shotgun that some of you might remember as the Origin-12 from previous iterations of Warzone. It has some trouble outside of close-range, but in tight quarters, the Haymaker can do some real damage.

To see the best loadout for the Haymaker in Warzone, keep reading my guide below.

This Haymker loadout prioritizes increasing damage range and mobility, as those are the two most important stats when building a shotgun for Warzone. The Bryson Improved Choke slightly boosts damage while also tightening your pellet spread, making sure more bullets damage an enemy with an accurate shot. Then, I have the Imperator Long Barrel for a solid uptick in bullet velocity and range.

For mobility purposes, the No Stock Mod boosts every relevant mobility stat, including aim down sights speed, sprint-to-fire time, and movement speed. Then, the FTAC Grimline Laser increases hipfire accuracy and spread as well as sprint-to-fire time. Finally, the 20 Round Drum is in place to ensure you can damage as many enemies as possible before having to reload.

I decided against equipping any form of ammunition or an optic, as I felt the options weren’t worth an extra attachment slot. However, you can replace the laser or magazine with one of those attachment slots if you feel so inclined.
