Best HRM-9 loadout for Ranked Play in MW3

The HRM-9 is the new submachine gun in Season 2 of Call of Duty MW3 and it’s still allowed in Ranked Play. However, the developers have stated that they have plans to remove the SMG from the mode. In the meantime, though, you can take advantage of the HRM-9 in Ranked by using its strongest loadout.

UPDATE: The HRM-9 has now been banned in Ranked Play as of Season 2. So you will not be able to use it in the mode, but you can still use this loadout for other forms of competitive play.

Best HRM-9 Ranked Play loadout in MW3

• Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake S
• Barrel: Princeps Long Barrel
• Stock: Folding Stock
• Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
• Rear Grip: PCS-90 Assault Grip

This is the widely accepted competitive loadout for the HRM-9. It boosts all of the major stats for the HRM-9, making it shoot much straighter while still having strong mobility to take on the Rival-9 at close range. The loadout begins with the Purifier Muzzle Brake S to reduce horizontal recoil and the PCS-90 Assault Grip improves accuracy across the board.

The Folding Stock also increases recoil control but adds a little mobility to the picture as well. Speaking of mobility, that’s all the DR-6 Handstop focuses on, boosting your ADS speed and sprint-to-fire time. Finally, the Princeps Long Barrel increases your damage range and bullet velocity so you can take fights at longer ranges.
