Best Rival-9 loadout for Ranked Play in MW3

The Rival-9 is far and away the strongest submachine gun for Ranked Play in Call of Duty MW3. It’s the current choice for the professionals in the Call of Duty League and every SMG player in the league uses the same loadout for the Rival-9.

Best Rival-9 Ranked Play loadout in MW3

• Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake S
• Barrel: Rival-C Clearshot Barrel
• Stock: MTZ Marauder Stock
• Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
• Rear Grip: Rival Vice Assault Grip

This is the standard loadout for the Rival-9 you will see every pro running in official matches or during their streams. It has fantastic mobility and recoil control, but you will need to focus on controlling some recoil when you’re shooting at longer ranges.

The one note I’ll offer with this loadout is if you want slightly more accuracy, you can equip the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop instead of the DR-6 Handstop. The former offers more recoil control but slightly less mobility. I think the Rival-9 still shoots extremely straight with the DR-6 Handstop, but you might think differently, so feel free to swap the attachments if necessary. You could also go with a different Rear Grip or Stock depending on your playstyle, but my loadout has very little weaknesses.
