Best Carnage decks for all pools in Marvel Snap

Destroy, Build, Destroy

One of the neat things about Marvel Snap is that it allows fans of almost every single Marvel character to build decks around them. One of the cult-classic fan-favorite characters from the Marvel universe is Carnage who is actually quite good in Marvel Snap. Here is a quick guide on how to build the best Carnage decks in all pools in Marvel Snap.

Pool 1 Carnage

Carnage’s effect in Marvel Snap destroys all other cards at a location and adds their power to his. Because of this, Carnage fits nicely into Destroy decks in which the main goal is to do what Carnage does, destroy other cards to get bonus effects. In Pool 1, though, there are not enough destroy cards to make the deck completely destroy based but combining it with movement cards makes the deck a meta threat during the early ranks.

Here is what a Pool 1 destroy deck looks like using Carnage:

  • Elektra
  • Iron Fist
  • Nightcrawler
  • Nova
  • Forge
  • Carnage
  • Kraven
  • Multiple Man
  • Doctor Strange
  • Hulk Buster
  • Deathlock
  • Heimdall

Pool 2 Carnage

Pool 2 opens up some new possibilities when it comes to the destroy archetype and players no longer have to mix it with the movement archetype and can now play a true mono-destroy deck. Carnage is still a main piece in the deck but is joined by heavy hitters like Bucky Barnes and Sabretooth but there are also spots for tech cards that can auto-win specific matchups like Killmonger which is used to beat the Kaz-ar decks.

Here is what the decklist looks like:

  • Angel
  • Nova
  • Bucky Barnes
  • Forge
  • Carnage
  • Mister Sinister
  • Wolverine
  • Killmonger
  • Sabretooth
  • Deathlok
  • Shang-Chi
  • Hobgoblin

Pool 3 Carnage

When players progress to Pool 3, the Carnage destroy deck will be at full power. This is where the deck goes from playable to meta contender as all the best cards in the game are now available to be used. Deadpool and Death make this deck almost unbeatable if it sees its key cards and Carnage is one of them.

Here is what that deck list looks like:
