“Needless to say, we’re happy to announce the extension of our relationship with OMEN. The brand is a key collaborator for Astralis,” Jakob Lund Kristensen, co-Founder and CCO of Astralis Group, said in a release. “By extending the agreement for another 12 months and increasing the total engagement, OMEN and Astralis Group show our mutual dedication to the collaboration which is exactly what we always look for; a possibility to grow our business and to serve the fans and consumers of all parties.”

Astralis Group is well known for its three subsidiary organizations, which each compete in a separate esports title. Origen plays in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), Future FC in FIFA, and Astralis in Counter-Strike. This partnership will specifically focus on the CSGO team, which is currently ranked #1 in the world. The lineup features notable achievements like 1st place at 2019’s StarLadder Berlin Major, IEM Katowice, and the 2018 FACEIT Major.

“We’ve seen a lot of interest in our teams and media business, and it’s been a busy opening of the year, to put it mildly,” adds Kristensen. “We’ve strengthened our commercial organization for the same reason, but we have also set some very ambitious targets in line with the growing reach of our team brands and our media in general.”

This partnership follows others that Astralis Group has announced with the start of the new year. These include the likes of esports competition platform GLHF and CSGO virtual trading platform CS MONEY. OMEN by HP is also sponsoring many esports brands through partnerships with both the Dutch and Belgian League of Legends regional leagues.
