Assassin’s Creed protagonist Ezio comes to Fortnite

The Master Assassin joins the fray

Master assassin Ezio Auditore is coming to Fortnite on March 10, according to a notable leaker. Players can get the set for free if they purchase Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök on the Epic Games Store before that date.

“We haven’t seen any information regarding this coming to the Item Shop as of yet, the tweet above is exactly what the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account said earlier today,” the leaker said in a tweet on March 2.

“You absolutely can buy him in the shop later this month,” wrote the community developer in a tweet. “It’s just an added bonus for people who were thinking of getting the Dawn of Ragnarök Expansion or Valhalla.”

Ezio is the next big gaming legend to come to Fortnite

The Ezio skin will sell for 2,000 V-bucks when it hits the item shop in Fortnite. It’s unclear if the skin will come with any other cosmetics like a back bling, glider or pick axe.

Ezio joins other major gaming characters in Fortnite, like Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Kratos from God of War and Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West. Tennis star Naomi Osaka is also coming to Fortnite on March 3. Her addition to the Icon Series marks the second time a major athlete is to be added to the battle royale.

Players can compete in the Naomi Osaka Cup today to try and unlock her skin early.

Ezio Auditore is the main character of several of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed games. The series, which has turned into one of Ubisoft’s most popular franchises, has since moved away from Ezio’s story and expanded into Egypt, Norway and England. Ezio has been one of the most-requested skins by the Fortnite community.
