Are new classes coming to Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2?

Since its launch, I’ve been scouring the internet for Space Marine 2 content, trying to learn more about the Warhammer 40k universe. Apart from superfan Henry Cavill and some down-the-rabbit-hole lorecasts, I stumbled upon the holy grail: Focus Together (Focus Entertainment’s Community Forum).

What is the Focus Together platform?

The Focus Together platform a is a hub for all the games that Focus Entertainment has developed. Not only do they provide a place for community members to engage with one another, but it’s also a safe space to share ideas about their favorite games. However, they’ve taken it one step further.

How does Focus Entertainment engage with its community?

On the Focus Together platform, there is an Ideas tab. This tab allows members of the community to share their ideas on how to improve the game, from level design to character customization.

The Warhammer 40k universe is overflowing with passionate individuals with deep knowledge of the lore. It’s this passion that drives ingenuity, and it would be a crime not to use it.

Not only do they give fans a place to share, but they read every piece of community feedback (as confirmed by a dev: Taupinambour), and have tags to identify specific ideas with.

What new content could be coming to Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2?

When going up against relentless hordes of Tyrannids, a new class would come in handy, providing healing capabilities to the entire squad between waves — think Survival mode.

New Class: Apothecary

User BrotherUlfar suggested that the healer class — Apothecary — be introduced to the game in the future as it will enhance expansions of the PVE mode.

What did the devs say?

This may seem like just some form of subreddit where fans talk about the game and nothing happens… not this time! Focus Entertainment has constant eyes over all ideas being thrown into the forum. Additionally, they have tagged this idea as a MUST HAVE.

Per the website,”The MUST HAVE status is given by the dev team to ideas they would really like to have in the game.”

Worthy of the lore

With so many ideas flowing in, devs at Focus Entertainment will take their time to sift through the ideas, deliver content that is true to the lore and worthy of the Warhammer 40k franchise.

Where does Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 get their ideas from?

You (and of course the very well-defined and deeply entrenched lore)

So, if you’d like to share your opinions and ideas about the game and potentially directly affect the game’s growth, visit the Focus Together platform and share in the fun with your fellow Brothers and Sisters!

For the Ultramar!
