Apex Legends Season Octane Edition leaked by Xbox

Apex Legends Season 4 Octane Edition cosmetics leaked by Xbox

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

As with any new season of Apex Legends, a ton of different cosmetics have been introduced to the game. The Season 4 Battle Pass features some dazzling items, like Wattson’s Cyberpunk skin, that have players grinding out matches for XP. However, there appears to be another set of cosmetics arriving in Apex Legends that has nothing to do with the Battle Pass.

At the start of the season, we received leaks about a potential new edition. Well, the leaks have been substantiated, as Xbox has leaked a special Octane Edition of Apex Legends.

What the Octane Edition contains

While we knew about this edition already, now we have actual images backed by a reliable source. Both Xbox and Sony received promotional images early, and apparently Xbox released its images a little early. Below you can see the Octane Edition as well as the skins arriving with it.

Octane Edition Apex Legends

Although not confirmed, this is as official as we can get without Apex Legends releasing the news. So, we’re taking this to be true, as there’s even a description along with the images. This description reads: “Whoa! What a rush! Grab your Apex Legendsâ„¢ – Octane Edition now. The Octane Edition includes: • Legendary Octane Skin • Legendary Charge Rifle Skin • Gun Charm • Badge • 1000 Apex Coins”.

According to the leak, this will release on Feb. 18, which is right in the middle of the Valentine’s Day event. One thing we don’t have information on is the pricing of this edition. However, similar bundles have cost around $20 in the past, so that’s a good estimate.

Though we’re not entirely sure, it’s presumed that the Octane Edition will launch as a physical and digital copy. So, if you want to buy an actual copy of Apex Legends, you can likely do so with this edition. It should also be available to purchase in-game.

Will you buy the Octane Edition? Let us know, and stay tuned to Daily Esports for more Apex Legends news.
