Some major issues have recently popped up in Season 4 of Apex Legends. Last week, we received reports of console lag issues plaguing a wide range of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. This raged on into this week when the lag transferred over to PC along with random game crashes. However, these are recent issues with Apex Legends. There’s one problem that has been present since the beginning of Season 4, and it has to do with the supply bins that are scattered around World’s Edge.
Supply bin issues in Apex Legends
The supply bins in Apex Legends have been the subject of much controversy throughout the game’s life cycle. Although, in Season 4, they’ve become increasingly difficult to loot. This is in part due to the high volume of weapons, ammunition, and other loot in the bins.
Players have noticed that when a supply bin is full, it can take several seconds to loot the item you want. This is magnified when players are facing the bin head-on instead of at an angle. The game has a hard time honing in on the one piece of ammo or equipment you’re attempting to pick up.
As such, players are spending valuable seconds at supply bins trying to add that one Arc Star or pack of energy ammo to their inventory. There are a couple of ways to speed up the process, however, like looking at the supply bin from a more horizontal angle.
However, Respawn Entertainment should look into ways to speed up the looting of supply bins. Whether this means lessening the amount of loot in the bins or introducing more bins across the map, players would love a resolution to this issue in Apex Legends.
