The VALORANT Champions Tour 2023 season starting soon, with teams competing to get to Ascension. The top teams will join the major league for 2024 onwards, meaning it’s a very competitive and important tournament.

The latter six teams in the above list — starting with BreakThru and ending with OREsports — all came in through qualifiers. All the other teams came in via invitation from Riot Games. This spread of 12 NA VALORANT Challengers teams in 2023 have a lot of familiar faces due to franchising for the main league.

Groups are set for 2023

Recently, the groups were revealed for the NA VALORANT Challengers 2023 Split 1.

The groups are as follows:

Group A

  • Shopify Rebellion
  • G2 Esports
  • BreakThru
  • Oxygen Esports
  • Turtle Troops

Group B

  • M80
  • TSM
  • The Guard
  • Disguised
  • Dark Ratio
  • OREsports

Both groups have three invited teams and three open qualifiers teams each. The full schedule has also come out, with the debut matches of FaZe Clan versus G2 Esports at 4 P.M. and The Guard versus Disguised at 7 P.M. on Feb. 1, 2023.
