All secrets in the first forest Area in Reka

So you’ve completed all of Baba Yaga’s initial quests, and you’re all set to leave the first area. Before you do that, however, there are plenty of secrets left to discover around this first area. I’ve explored pretty much everywhere so you don’t have to, and here are all the secrets I’ve found.

All secrets in the first area of Reka

Your first secret is a chest in the attic of a burnt-out building. It’s in the southern area of the forest, near the home of the Lutki.

Simply climb up the planks that are partially blocking the door and you’ll be able to reach the chest and claim the rewards inside.

The next secret is quite important. It’s located on the south-eastern part of the map inside of an old barn.

Head inside the barn and head to the back of the barn to find a ginger cat! You’ll also find a chest near the cat containing some more furniture.

Next, you’ll find a sack hanging from a tree in the northern part of the map, near another burnt-out building, just north of the graveyard (which we’ll get to in a second).

Shoot one of your crows at the sack to knock it down and then go claim your reward.

Next, let’s head back to that burnt out building near this sack. There’s another chest in the attic, and then it’s time to head for the graveyard, with is found to the north-east of the map.

To claim rewards at the Graveyard, you’ll need to pick a pine branch (at the sparkling tree near the center of the graveyard), and then light it on the blue candles nearby. When that’s done, interact with the strange phenomenon above the grave to cleanse it and then interact with the grave to claim your reward.

Boy, in such a charming, seemingly family-friendly game, I didn’t expect any grave-robbing, that’s for sure. Still, rewards are rewards and gamers gotta game. There are four graves in total, so make sure to grab them all before moving on.

There’s another hanging sack in a tree and a chest on a boat by the river a little south-west of the graveyard.

Our next secret is pretty much critical. You’ll find a ramshackle house to the north-west of the Graveyard, called the gloomy ruin.

In the back of the house, you’ll find a chest. Once you collect it, light all the candles in the room (well, Two were unlit and it already worked for me) and then interact with the mirror (which will now show a reflection).

You’ll get a mirror which enables you to customize your character later!

There’s another well which you can loot just across this river.

If you then turn back to the river and follow the bank north, you’ll find another boat with a chest inside.

Finally, as you conclude your hunt for secrets, there’s a wagon with a chest just north of where you left the chicken house thing (what do we even call it)?

Just north of that, there’s another sack in a tree as well. And that is everything I was able to find. If you managed to find anything else, let me know in the comment! It’d be super helpful to other readers.

Now it’s time to sit in your skeleton chair and ride your giant… chicken thing?… to a new area and brand new challenges. Witchdom awaits!
