Reka is an interesting new title, that’s for sure. The graphics, though dated, is quite charming and harks back to a simpler time. It’s weirdly nostalgic.
Anyway, that’s not why you came here. You want to know things like where is the merchant’s wagon wheel, or how to complete all the quests in Kopnik. Don’t worry, it’s all in here. Let’s get it done!
Should you complete all the quests in Kopnik?
Maybe we should answer this question before we even start. Completing the quests in Kopnik gives you a variety of rewards, most of which is furniture. If you ask me, it’s better to have the furniture and not use it, than not have it and wish you did, right?
You’ll also get some gold. We don’t know what it’s used for at this point, but years of gaming has taught us that shiny things are good, so I’d say grab that gold and get that furniture.
Where is the Merchant’s wagon wheel in Reka?
You can find the Merchant’s missing wagon wheel right on the path to the right if you run past the merchant. Yeah, I know, very simple, right? I also searched around the forest and could not find that thing! I figured I ran past it somehow.
Anyway, mystery solved!
Where is the baby goat?
When you speak to one of the ladies in the back garden of one of the first house on your right in Kopnik (assuming you actually entered from the path past the merchant), you’ll find a lady who has lost her goat. Or, more accurately, it escaped from her. But… where is the goat now?
She tells you to look in the forest. Don’t, it’s not there. Simply head down the path and hop over the fence to your right, just after the first building. You’ll find the baby goat right there in the garden. Grab him, take him back to the lady, and claim your rewards.
Scare away all the crows
Starting from the entrance of the village, walk down the path and take the first left. Take another left and you’ll see a man being accosted by crows. Talk to him and agree to help him, and you’ll be able to scare away the crows for him. To do this, simply walk up to each crow nearby, and you’ll get a bit of dialogue and the crow will fly away.
When you’re done, speak to the man again and he’ll give you some rewards.
There’s something in the well
If you follow the same path as before, but instead of turning left to the crow guy, hop the fence on your right, you’ll find an old well. Interact with it to draw the bucket up, and then grab some more goodies.
Harvest all the pumpkins
Again, from the same path as before, don’t turn at all and just keep going straight. You’ll find a lady working in a pumpkin field. Speak to her and agree to help her, then simply pick up every single pumpkin and drop them in the barn.
Where you drop them doesn’t seem to matter, as long as they’re in the barn. You could opt to just take a few pumpkins to the barn, but then you only get partial rewards, too. So take the extra minute and get all those pumpkins in the barn for your rewards.
Three secret chests in Kopnik in Reka
Well, one of them isn’t exactly a secret, but the game does try to fool you just a little. Once you try to leave town and get the dialogue from the man who tells you about the witch in the woods, an indicator pops up on your compass.
Follow it directly, and you’re likely to miss all three these chests, which contain more furniture. Here’s how to find all three.
The first chest is on the left of the path you’re on, so just keep going and you’ll see it in the forest.
The second chest is straight down the path, just keep following it and you can’t miss it.
The third chest is pretty well hidden though. Keep following the path until you reach a fork in the road. The path to your right leads to the witches hut, and the path to your left leads to the chest, so let’s take the path to the left.
Keep going down the path and you’ll find the chest on a boat at the edge of the river. It’s very hard to spot, buf if you simply hug the edge of the river as you walk, the interaction prompt will pop up, revealing the location.
And that’s all there is to find — or, at least, that I’ve found. If you spotted something I didn’t, leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you!
Anyway, that’s it for Kopnik. The next stop in Reka is the witches hut, so head back to the fork and take the path on the right. And enjoy this charming little gem! It’s not every day we get a dose of nostalgia from a game we’ve never played!
If you need help with the Old Woman’s quests, I’ve got you.
Reka is ten percent off now, with 17 percent off on the Deluxe version that includes the soundtrack. You can get it on Steam here.
