In Lord of Hatred, gold has become the ultimate endgame chase. Rerolling a single item stat can burn through millions, and the new skill trees demand 40 million gold or more just to move your points around. But why grind honestly when the game hands you a massive shortcut?
The trick revolves around the game’s new Talisman and Charms system. By using the 3-to-1 recipe in the Horadric Cube, players are rerolling their Legendary Horadric Seals until they hit the “Practiced Technique” affix. When combined with three Charms from the same set, which easily drop on pre-Torment difficulties, it triggers an additional set bonus granting a completely busted +900% gold drop rate.
Nobody in the community actually believes a number that big was intentional. The general consensus is that the devs aimed for a 9% boost and just missed the mark entirely. Regardless, players combining this setup with dungeons that drop extra gold are easily farming a few billion every run.

The wildest part is that the patch notes for the May 13 update fix several bugs, but completely fail to mention this economy-breaking exploit. While streamers like Wudijo are already dropping guides on how to optimize the farm, the consequences for the game’s trade economy are quickly setting in. Players relying on trade sites are about to face massive inflation as the market floods with glitch-printed billions.
Until Blizzard wakes up and slaps a decimal point on that seal, you might as well ditch your regular passive charms and get rich.
