Two legends have teamed up to show their support for Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.). The Golden State Warriors’ three-time NBA champion Klay Thompson and the infamous two-time back-to-back Blockbuster champion and Twitch personality Dr Disrespect are joining forces to raise money for U.S. veterans.

Beginning on Nov 7, fans can enter for a chance to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with Klay and the Doc. Omaze, a large fundraising platform, has teamed up with C.O.D.E. to raise money to help veterans find work. C.O.D.E. was launched by Activision Blizzard back in 2009 and has placed over 30,000 veterans in high-quality jobs over the past four years. The Omaze event page states, “Every $522 that the Endowment receives helps place a veteran into a high-quality job. With unemployment and underemployment impacting hundreds of thousands of former service members each year, the Call of Duty Endowment is proud to have helped more than 63,000 veterans transition into meaningful careers.”

How does it work?

If you are chosen, you and a friend will be flown out and put up in a 4-star hotel with all expenses paid. You also will be able to play Modern Warfare with Klay Thompson and Dr Disrespect. These games will be live-streamed on Dr Disrespect’s official channel. Regarding the mode played, Omaze says, “Your call. Because Modern Warfare now brings you even more options. All the traditional CoD modes are available, plus new ones like Gunfight (2v2), so you and Doc can team up against Klay and your friend (or the other way around).”

How can you enter?

Anyone can enter the sweepstakes over on Omaze. You can also donate on the same page to increase your chances of winning. Every dollar you give will earn you an extra 10 entries. These donations go straight to C.O.D.E. You have until January 20, 2020, to enter.
